On March 14, 2017, Sichuan Institute of Power Electronics held three or five councils in Chengdu. Besides the Council members, there were also members of the board of supervisors and heads of student branches. The meeting was chaired by Professor Guo Shiming, President of the Society.

At the meeting, President Guo Shiming first conveyed the spirit of the working meeting of the Provincial Association of Science and Technology and the key work of the Eighth Plenary Committee of Sichuan Association of Science and Technology in 2017, and introduced in detail several key work to be carried out by the Society in 2017.

At the meeting, the construction of expert bank, evaluation of scientific research achievements, evaluation of scientific and technological projects and establishment of group standards were also discussed, and specific implementation plans were implemented.

The Council also discussed and adopted the measures for the construction and management of expert Bank of Sichuan Power Electronics Society, the rules for awarding and awarding Sichuan Power Electronics Science and Technology Awards, and the management methods for the group standards of Sichuan Power Electronics Society.
