Commendation of Excellent Scientific and Technological Workers and Enterprise Forum in 2017

On the morning of May 26, 2017, on the occasion of the first national science and technology worker's day, the Sichuan Power Electronics Society held the 2007 Excellent Science and Technology Workers Recognition Conference and Enterprise Forum at Yingjie Electric Co., Ltd. in Deyang.

The meeting was chaired by Professor Guo Shiming, Chairman of Sichuan Power Electronics Society. Shen Jingyuan, Deputy Secretary-General of Sichuan Power Electronics Society, read out the "decision of Sichuan Power Electronics Society to commend outstanding scientists and technicians in 2017".

Minister Tang Lihua of the Propaganda Department of Sichuan Association of Science and Technology attended the conference and delivered a warm speech. In his speech, Minister Tang highly appraised the achievements made since the founding of the Society, emphasized the importance of setting up the National Science and Technology Workers'Day, and on behalf of the Provincial Association of Science and Technology, he expressed his admiration for the spirit of "loyalty to the country, daring to be the first and striving to contribute" of the vast number of scientists and technicians, and greeted them with festival greetings.

At the meeting, Professor Li Zehong, Director of Institute Jia Wen of Guangzhou University, and Professor Li Zehong of University of Electronic Sciences, spoke on behalf of outstanding scientists and technicians. They talked about their own experience around the theme of loyalty to the country, daring to be the first and striving for dedication. Director Jia's words "regardless of rags and clothes, food, housing leaks, only to contribute to the development of the motherland" fully reflect the minds and aspirations of the older generation of scientists and technicians. Professor Li's speech made a profound analysis of the origin and connotation of daring to be the first, combined with his own work to talk about feelings, demonstrating the courage to be the first in scientific research.

Sichuan Yingjie Electric Co., Ltd. and Dongfang Hitachi (Chengdu) Electronic Control Equipment Co., Ltd. also made speeches at the meeting, respectively, briefed the general situation and development situation of the enterprise and its innovative achievements. After the meeting, the participants visited Yingjie Electric Workshop.
