The Second Annual Conference of Power Electronics in Western China 

On July 18, 2015, the Sichuan Institute of Power Electronics held the Second Annual Conference on Power Electronics in Western China at the Academic Hall on the 4th floor of Network College of Southwest Jiaotong University.

Representatives from other provinces such as Xi'an Petroleum University, Chongqing University, Lanzhou Polytechnic University and members of Sichuan Electric Power and Electronics Society are from Southwest Jiaotong University, Sichuan University, Electronic Science University, Xihua University, Southwest Petroleum University, Oriental Hitachi Company, Deyang Yingjie Electric Company, Mianyang Institute of Electronic Engineering Physics, Guangyuan Xinzhou Electronics, etc. More than 120 delegates attended the meeting.

In the morning, the conference's academic report will be held. The contents of the report are as follows: Qian Qingquan, Academician of Southwest Jiaotong University, China's Urban Rail Transit Development and System Choice; Vice President of Shaanxi Power Supply Society; Professor Li Hong, Xi'an Petroleum University, China's Development of High Power DC Voltage; and Yang Weiman, Associate Professor of Lanzhou University of Technology, China's "Micro-source Inverter Series Connec Network Research; Development of Power Diodes by Professor Li Zehong of University of Electronic Science and Technology; and Harmonic Control of Distribution Network by Associate Professor Zhao Lihua of Sichuan University.

In the afternoon, the delegates attended the annual meeting in two groups continued their academic exchanges in the Yifu Hall classroom of Jiaotong University. The contents of the paper covered the research and application results of various aspects of power electronics technology.
