The popular science report on the construction of national innovative cities is welcomed by everyone.

The report was delivered by Professor Chen Guang, Vice Chairman of Chengdu Science Association and Dean of Southwest Jiaotong University School of Public Administration. Professor Chen Guang gave a detailed explanation around the connotation and symbol of innovative city, the goal setting and foundation of Chengdu's construction of innovative city, the relationship between innovative city and "new four modernizations", the relationship between leapfrog development and citizen's life, and the path choice of realizing innovative city in Chengdu, especially when he talked about Chengdu's ten happiest cities in China, China's happiest sense of happiness. Cities, the best leisure city, the Fortune Forum and other privileges and future achievements will be built into urban traffic integration, urban environment gardening, urban management legalization, urban residents knowledge, Chengdu public with high scientific literacy, urban industry service, central city rebuilding, individualized urban development, scientific urban management, internationalization of urban life, etc. The full modernization and internationalization of big cities with big characteristics inspire us greatly and stimulate us to create more beautiful ideas. The professor talked about the problems that may be encountered in the construction and the suggestions to solve them, which we all agree with very much. There is a long way to go. Many comrades have expressed that as a Sichuan person, we must do our utmost to fulfill our responsibilities, devote ourselves to our profession and do our work well. At the same time, we should actively participate in the relevant activities organized by the society and give strong support to the construction of Chengdu's national innovative city, and play a role of a screw. We firmly believe that with the strong leadership of the provincial Party Committee and the provincial government, the careful arrangement of the Chengdu Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government, and the active participation and support of the whole city's people, the national innovative city of Chengdu will be built ahead of schedule.
