Introduction of Sichuan Province Power Electronics Society
Sichuan Province Power Electronics Society was founded in 2005. It is a non-profit academic social team formed voluntarily and registered according to law by scientists and technicians in the emerging fields of power, electronics, automation, energy and information in our province.
The Society is responsible for the Sichuan Science and Technology Association, and the affiliated unit is the Electrical Engineering College of Southwest Jiaotong University. The Society has six special committees, 108 unit members and more than 1000 individual members. The current president of the Society is Professor Guo Shiming, School of Electrical Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University.
Its technical fields include reactive power compensation and filtering in power system, solar and wind power generation, new energy electric vehicles, energy saving and emission reduction, rail transit, intelligent manufacturing, power supply, special power supply, etc.
Chengdu Power Electronics Society
Power electronics is a new frontier subject that spans power, electronics and automatic control. In order to speed up the development of high-tech industry of power electronics in our city, it was formally established in 1988 with the approval of Chengdu Association of Science and Technology under the guidance of the National Institute of Power Electronics. According to the "Conditions for the Registration and Management of Social Organizations", I will be formally approved as a legal person association in 1992 after self-examination and declaration. Chengdu Science and Technology Association is the competent business department, Chengdu Civil Affairs Bureau is the registration management department. Over the past 20 years, under the care and guidance of the Municipal Association of Science and Technology and the Civil Affairs Bureau, under the correct leadership of the Council and the joint efforts of the broad membership, I will work actively around the purpose of "three services and one strengthening".
